These cups were resurrected from coloured nerikomi mixed with porcelain.The mixture can never be created exactly.The blue-gray mixture is enhanced with Blue Sky glaze created specially for MeadCeramics.Throwing ring texture, impressed with a wooden tree and ribbed foot for added interest. MeadCeramics pieces are created in small batches of unique mixtures of clay - sometimes purposeful, sometimes unexpected. They can’t be reproduced again. Glazes are created specifically for the MeadCeramics studio by Melissa Mead. These glazes are crafted to accent the forms and clay mixes Melissa created her vessels in. Items can withstand some dishwashing and microwaving.
